Yoga Jewelry

The world of yoga has grown exponentially over the years. Along with the growth of the practice, the industries that support it have also grown right along side it. Clothing manufacturers like Lululemon, Prana, and Lucy have set the standard for yoga clothing and the natural, yet fit look. Women who enjoy the look of natural textiles in comfortable and flexible styles are often seen wearing jewelry that supports the lifestyle, too.

The Art of Adornment

Many women who practice yoga also practice the art of adornment. This means that they often tattoo and pierce their bodies as well as wear a wide variety of jewelry. It is very common to see dedicated yoga practitioners wearing nose rings, earrings, as well as layers of necklaces and bracelets. Colorful beads, beautiful metals, and meaningful crystals are the common types of jewelry.

Jewelry with the OM Symbol

Most women who practice yoga have at least one piece of jewelry with the “OM” symbol on it. Yoga jewelry designers are mindful of creating jewelry with this symbol, since it is so important to the world of yoga. It is common to see the symbol etched into metal or styled on beads. Sometimes the symbols is very small and subtle, just like the presence of om in the world. In other instances, the symbol is quite dominant, boldly stylized onto a necklace.

Mala Beads for Meditation

Another commonly seen piece of jewelry in the world of yoga is the mala beads. These are long sets of beads designed for meditation. A set of mala beads has 108 beads, with a distinctly larger bead so that meditators know when they have reached the end of each meditative journey. Mala beads can be made of any type of bead, but since yoga is a natural practice allowing men and women to connect their mind, body, and soul, it is common to see these made of natural materials. As yogis meditate on a chosen word or phrase, they move their fingers from one bead to the next, so they can easily keep track of the number of times they chant the word. When they get to the last bead, which is larger than the over 107 beads, they stop. Most mala beads have a tassel or some other decoration hanging from the point where the large bead closes the necklace. When yogis are not wearing their mala beads, they usually keep them in a little pouch.

Along with mala beads, many yogis wear layers of bracelets. Some women will wrap their mala beads several times around their wrist and then pair them with several other beaded bracelets. Along with several bracelets, it is not uncommon to see yoginis wearing several earrings, too.

Jewelry Armoires to Prevent Tangling

Because so many yoga practitioners wear long necklaces, dangling earrings, and charm or beaded bracelets, jewelry armoires are recommended for storing their pieces. Regular chest jewelry boxes do not allow their necklaces and beads to hang individually to prevent tangling. At ChasingTreasure.com, we have all of the jewelry armoires to meet the needs of yogis as well as everyone else who loves to adorn themselves in beautiful jewelry.

What Jewelry to Buy the Lady who has everything?

When it comes to buying presents for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries or Christmas, jewelry of any description is always suitable. However, as the years go by, it can become more and more difficult to find something unique and meaningful. After all, what do you buy the lady who has everything? Below, are listed some suggestions that may help when faced with the situation next time.

Diamond: These are not called a girl’s best friend for no good reason! They have a timeless quality about them, retain their value, and look spectacular. Set in rings, earrings or necklaces, they add a touch of style and class when worn with evening wear in a restaurant or on nights out. One of the best things about diamonds though, is that people can never have too many of them!

Necklace: A necklace that has been personalized in some way is currently fashionable, and also makes an ideal present. The most popular way of doing this is to include initials or a name on the necklace, and this element of personalization is perfect for anyone that may already have a selection of necklaces.

Earrings: Earrings always make a lovely present, and are especially suitable for ladies that either have short hair, or like to wear their hair up. Currently, either long or big earrings are n fashion, although as we all know, fashions do change! When buying them, it may be advisable to take the lady in question to the jewelers before purchasing them, so as to know that the present will be most suitable.

Jewelry Unique to her Tastes: What a boring world it would be if everyone was the same, and a similar thing can be said about personal tastes. It might be a liking for a certain sort of metal such as silver or gold, or for a particular color. It may even be for an animal such as a panda or dolphin. Catering for their tastes is a sure way to ensure that a price of jewelry can be bought which will show a degree of thoughtfulness behind it; and this is always the best way to give something to the lady that seems to have everything.

Rings: Rings can be given for special occasions such as engagements or marriages, but they can also be given for a variety of other reasons. They are a way of showing affection and represent a bond between two people. Whilst some people will wear rings all the time, and may not have room for more, others like to wear different rings in different social settings. Buying a ring may at first seem surprising for the lady that has everything, but get it right, and she will remember it for years to come.

Although you may think that your lady has everything, the truth is that she will always appreciate a present of a piece of jewelry that shows some thought behind it. Whether it is for Christmas or a birthday, there are a great many lovely and individual pieces to choose from.

Finding the Perfect Piece of Jewelry on a Budget

Finding the perfect piece of jewelry for a friend or partner can be hard work at the best of times, but even more so when working to a budget. This is not necessarily a bad thing though, as it can mean that more thought is put into what is being bought, which in turn will lead to a more meaningful and personal present being given.

If, like many people, you find yourself with less money to spend this year on presents, there is no need to panic or worry. Instead, read through the following suggestions that will help you to make a great decision when it comes to buying somebody a ring or a necklace for Christmas, their birthday or any other special occasion.

All that glitters is not gold: Some people automatically assume that if they are going to buy a piece of jewelry, it has to be made out of gold. This is clearly not the case though, as there are many other precious metals, with one of the more obvious alternatives being silver. Ornaments and jewelry made from silver date back to at least 4000 B.C., and it is one of the earliest metals believed to have been worked by man. From basic earrings through to more elaborate pieces, silver is an affordable alternative to gold when it comes to jewelry, although it may require more cleaning to keep it looking at its very best.

What is a birth stone? The idea of birthstones stretches back centuries, and can be found in both eastern and western cultures. In the east, they were associated with the zodiacal calendar; whilst in the west, they were associated with the months in the Gregorian calendar. Whilst some of the precious stones matched in both philosophies, some did not, and so in the United States, it was first standardized in 1912, and then reviewed again in 2012. Running in month order from January, the birthstones are as follows: Garnet, Amethyst, Aquamarine (+Bloodstone), Diamond, Emerald, Pearl (+Moonstone+Alexandrite), Ruby, Peridot, Sapphire, Opal (+Tourmaline), Topaz (+Citrine), and Turquoise (+Zircon+Tanzanite). Birthstones are usually given to people in the form of a ring, and make the perfect personal gift that also shows that a lot of thought has been put into it.

Find the piece that goes with everything. Whilst there may be some outstanding and unique pieces of jewelry available, buying a piece that goes with everything makes a great deal of sense. Even if you need to pay more, the knowledge that something reasonably plain but of high quality will always be worn makes the purchase worthwhile.

Buy Used. Whilst buying a new item is everyone's preference, buying a previously loved piece of jewelry can offer some cost savings, especially if bought at a yard sale or even in a thrift store. It goes without saying that this can be very hit and miss, and even if you do find a piece that you like the look of, it may or may not be “real”.

Look for the Sales: Whether a traditional jewelers or an online retailer, in this day and age, everyone has a sale at some point. Waiting for the sale can offer quite a considerable cost saving, and is a great way to find the perfect piece of jewelry on a budget.

Trends in Big, Bold Statement Piece Necklaces

This summer bold statement necklaces are in fashion. Big bold statement piece necklaces draw the eye up and highlight a woman's lovely face neck and shoulders.

These types of necklaces do not go with everything in your wardrobe but one or two of them are nice to have on hand. Let's take a look at the type of statement necklaces that are available and looking good right now.

* Fringe style necklaces were hot in 2011 and they continue to be gorgeous in 2012. When purchasing a fringe style necklace to use as your statement piece it needs to be big and bold; the bigger the better!

* Collar and Bib style necklaces continue to be strong this year. You can find Collar and Bib style necklaces made from various metals or even from quilted fabrics. This is a nice style of necklace to add to your wardrobe as they lay flat against your neckline.

* Embroidered and Beaded style necklaces are hot again this season and you can usually find these type of statement piece necklaces in fashion jewelry and handcrafted jewelry markets.

* Multiple chain necklaces are still going strong! When purchasing one of these necklaces to act as your statement piece you want it to be bold and flashy looking. Look for ones that have 3 or more chains connected together with beads, real or faux gemstones dangling from the chains.

* Chandelier necklaces can really act as a statement piece if you purchase them in a big and bold style. We love them with multiple real and faux gemstones dangling off them in various sizes and lengths. Make sure you purchase a pair of chandelier style earrings to match or to coordinate with your necklace, or better yet, forgo the necklace if you chandeliers can stand on their own.

It is fun to make a statement with fashion and jewelry. Enjoy your new pieces and store them properly for longer use and care.

Cool Jewelry Trends for Teens

For many years the teenage consumer has been a power house when it comes to setting trends and this year is no different. Here are five great trends that the teenage girls love and are hanging onto for their summer look. Take a look at what's hot!

Hemp Jewelry is a hot look when the weather turns warm and this year we are seeing a bit return to it! You can find just plain hemp jewelry or hemp jewelry with beads or shells attached to it. You can find hemp necklaces, bracelets and anklets for teen girls and hemp necklaces and bracelets for teen boys. The trend is even bigger in coastal communities and hemp jewelry can be found in abundance. Kids even love making their own to wear and trade with their friends.

Wood, Bead and Shell Jewelry seems to never go out of style with the teenagers and this year we are seeing big, bold and colorful looks being sported around by the younger set. When looking for colors in this jewelry trend stick to the summer tropical citrus colors or go with neutral white, ivory or khaki colored shades.

Necklace Layering is really popular this season with the teen girls. We are seeing them mix up chains with beaded necklaces, cord necklaces or with woven hemp necklaces. For this trends, the more materials they can mix up with their layered necklaces, the better! In addition, chokers are out and the longer lengths are in!

Bracelet Layering has been in style for many months and it is not going away anytime soon. The girls love layering different styles of beads, ropes, chains and more with multiples on their arms at all times. It is a fun colorful way to wear jewelry and show some style.

Rings, Rings and More Rings! Teen girls are really layering on the rings this season and we are seeing a lot of stack rings all on one finger or seeing girls wearing 3-4 rings on each hand. For this trend we recommend looking to the fashion jewelry market or the sterling silver jewelry market to keep costs affordable.

Any way you look at it, the teen girls are creating their own fabulous look and many older fashion and jewelry lovers are following it too. Which one of these looks would you wear?

Southwest Jewelry Trends

Southwest jewelry has become a trend that is frequently seen and has been enjoyed for many years. Inspired by handcrafted Native American Jewelry, Southwest style jewelry is produced both by skilled artisans and by popular jewelry designers.

The majority of Southwest jewelry that you find in the jewelry market is made of .925 sterling silver. When you see turquoise in Southwest jewelry designs, it's usually blue or green Turquoise that is used in the designs. Much of the Southwest jewelry is made with all turquoise stones. You can find beautiful pieces created with turquoise mixed with other pretty gemstones like blue lapis, mother-of-pearl, coral, green jasper, blue jasper and more.

Typical Southwest Jewelry features many of the same images we are familiar with and have seen over the years. Look for the types of lovely key pieces shown below to add to your Southwest Collection:

Types of Chains for Men Part 1 of 2

Most women think that men don't wear a lot of jewelry but over the past decade or two more and more men are buying big and bold neck chains and bracelets. Today we are going to tell you about some of the most popular neck chains for men that you will see in the marketplace.

Curb Link Chain
The curb link chain is one of the most popular styles of chains for men. This type of chain is pretty simple and consists of one link hooking into another link. You can find this style of chain in a variety of sizes, thickness and made from a large variety of metals. Most curb chains come with a lobster claw style clasp which makes them very secure to wear and easy for a man to clasp.

Figaro Link Chain
This style of chain consists of one larger loop and usually 3 smaller loops. In the industry you will often hear it referred to as a 3 by 1 figaro chain which means there are 3 smaller loops, then the big loop and then 3 smaller loops, which is repeated for the length of the chain. All loops are inter-connected and it's a very durable and sturdy chain for a man. You will see this style of chain in a variety of sizes, millimeter thickness and made from a variety of metals.

Rope Chain
This style of chain looks just like a twisted piece of rope made from metal. It comes in a wide variety of sizes, thickness and is made from a variety of metals. They can be found with lobster claw style clasps or with c-ring clasps attached to them which make them really easy for men to fasten. If your man likes to wear various pendants on his neck chains, the rope chain would be a great option for that as long as you get a smaller diameter chain so that it fits through the bale (or bail) of a pendant to hang.

These 3 popular chains are readily available to purchase anywhere and look wonderful on a man's wrist or around the neck due to the thickness of the links.

What is Titanium and Why is it Good for Men's Jewelry

This year we are seeing a lot of men leaning towards jewelry made from titanium as their jewelry of choice. Titanium jewelry has the strength of steel but is light-weight like aluminum so it makes a great metal for jewelry , especially for those who can be hard on their jewelry, like men.

Titanium is a metal that is 99% commercially pure, whereas other metals are not as pure such as gold, sterling silver, stainless steel, etc. Jewelry made from Titanium is one of the fastest growing divisions within the jewelry market today. It has the appearance of stainless steel and white gold but the strength of the metal is amazing.

You will find men's earrings, neck chains, pendants, bracelets, watches, cufflinks and tie tack pins all made from Titanium out in the men's jewelry marketplace. All of these can be made with gemstones, have carved designs and are interlaced with other metals for a unique and impressive jewelry statement.

One great thing about the Titanium is that most jewelers who manufacture and produce Titanium jewelry offer it with a lifetime warranty due to the fact that is is durable and scratch resistant. It will definitely be a piece of jewelry that you can have for a lifetime. Many jewelers are offering it in women's styles too so wedding sets can be matching and they look amazing.

If you are looking for classic or modern designed jewelry for men, you need to check out the Titanium lines. You will be impressed.

Gypsy Style Jewelry Trend

Gypsy style also known as bohemian style has been a long going trend that will probably never die. There is something special about the fun, free spirited jewelry that crosses many generations. Let's take a look at the different types of jewelry that the Gypsy Style incorporates.

Braided or woven styled necklaces, bracelets and anklets that are made with or without beads or stones are a staple in the gypsy style jewelry trend. You will find these jewelry items made from braided or woven cord, hemp or leather in a variety of styles and colors.

When it comes to earrings in the gypsy style, look for long dangling earrings in the chandelier style for the classic gypsy look. Today you can also opt for the dangling feather style for the more modern look.

Wooden jewelry is also popular with this style. You can find pretty light-weight wooden dangle earrings, wide and thin bangle bracelets, and big and bold wooden pendants. What a throwback to the 60's and still fun to wear.

Overall Gypsy jewelry tends to be made from a variety of materials like bone, feathers, cording, braided leather, hemp and other natural fibers. However, you can find gypsy style jewelry made with semi-precious metals too, although die-hard gypsy style lovers will tell you to stick with the natural or mostly natural materials.

You will also find that many of the pendants on necklaces in the gypsy style are made with semi-precious gemstones that have a symbolic meaning. ie. clear crystals which are usually quartz inspire healing, etc.

Finding your style in the gypsy jewelry trend is easy when it comes to many of these great finds in your local boutiques or from online shops. Have a bit of fun with your style once in a while and let loose!

Extend Your Wardrobe by Investing in Neutral Jewelry

In today's economy and limited budgets, women everywhere are looking to make good investments in their jewelry collections by purchasing neutral pieces that would go with a variety of clothing that they already have in their wardrobes. When selecting jewelry that has color, you can choose neutral tones so that the pieces will work with a variety of your colored clothing options, as well as work with your classic colors too.

Invest in some white and/or ivory colored cultured pearls or faux pearls. When you stick with the neutral white or ivory with your pearl colors you can wear them with just about everything you have in your wardrobe. They can be dressed down with jeans and a casual shirt or dressed up with a nice business suit or cocktail gown.

Invest in classic metal jewelry pieces, without gemstones, beads or enamel. Stick to classic chain style necklaces, chain style bracelets and invest in a few pairs of good metal hoop earrings. If you want to save a lot of money, look for pieces in the fashion jewelry market or sterling silver jewelry markets. For long term investment and wear, purchase gold or platinum pieces.

If you want to invest in gemstone jewelry it is best to go for gemstones that are colorless or have pale coloring to them. Look for gemstones in colors that would work with the majority of fashions you have in your wardrobe. We like the citrine, smoky quartz, black onyx, mother of pearl, white topaz, sapphire and ruby to name a few. All of these particular colored gemstones can work with the majority of your spring and summer wardrobes.

Don't despair! It is possible to stretch your jewelry collections and yet be fashion forward. Think classic and long term and you will be right in style every time with pieces that will look great year after year.

Mens Jewelry Trends for Spring - Casual Wear

The rough and rugged look is back on trend for the spring and summer season. When it comes to men's jewelry this season you want to look for a few key pieces revolving around the rough, rugged, definitely casual and laid-back look. Here is what is on tap for this Spring for the guys.

Some guy's enjoy wearing necklaces and popular with them are ones that have leather or man-made cords. Look for rectangular or circular style pendants or dog tags to hang off the cords for a nice fashion look this season.

Men are hard on their jewelry so look for a watch that is water resistant, just in case he forgets to take it off while showering or swimming. The bands this year range from casual cargo style which is very popular and come in a lot of popular colors to stainless steel.

Stainless steel and titanium metals are durable and can put up with the abuse that men tend to put their jewelry through so they are always a good choice. Look for watches, neck chains and bracelets made from these two metals in chunky link styles for a casual and sporty look.

Band rings, band rings, band rings! Skip the gemstones and go with a nice solid metal band ring in 14kt gold, sterling silver or stainless steel. Men don't like worrying about gemstones coming loose when they are out and about having fun in the springtime and summer weather. These band rings are hot. They come in a range of thickness and fabulous colors too.

No matter the age of your guy, any of these looks are going to be appreciated by him. Trends like these look great all the time and the men enjoy wearing this type of jewelry on a regular bases and look great too.  Don't forget a handsome men's valet box keeps it all organized!

Irish Jewelry Is Always in Style

Irish jewelry has made a mark on jewelry fashion. The simple and yet symbolic jewelry pieces that are available are classic and yet universal to all; men and women alike. What is great about the beautiful Irish jewelry styles is that they are not for those from Irish heritage alone. They are enjoyed by anyone that loves the beauty of the work and the meanings of the piece.

Here are a few different styles you can find to enjoy.

* The Claddagh has always been popular with those who love Irish tradition and jewelry. The Claddagh looks like two hands that circle a heart topped by a crown. This symbol signifies friendship, love and loyalty so it's popular among couples and those who are best friends.

Tradition says that if you wear the ring on your right hand with the crown turned inwards that your heart is not fulfilled and you are open for love. If you wear the crown turned outwards, you have a love interest. If you wear the ring on your left hand with the crown facing out, you have found true love.

* The Celtic knot is a popular style that you often see in earrings, pendants, rings and bracelets. The Celtic knot can also be referred to as the mystic knot, or the endless knot and it can be symbolic to many in different ways. Some believe it stands for intertwining lives or an endless life in spirit due to the knots having no beginning or end. They are beautiful in any aspect. If you love big and bold statement pieces, look for big beautiful cuff bracelets or bangle bracelets that show off the intricacies of the Celtic knot work.

* If you are looking for a more unique Irish style jewelry you can seek out pieces that are made with Connemara Marble which is very popular in Irish Christian themed jewelry. you will often find Connemara Marble in rosaries such as necklaces, bracelets and finger ring style rosaries all of which are beautiful and elegant to wear.

Enjoy lovely cultural jewelry that is beautiful and steeped in tradition for classic, beautiful style.

Tips and Trends About Bangle Bracelets

Bangle Bracelets have been a trend for hundreds of years. This is one item that will never go out of fashion. One reason is the versatility of the bangle. There are so many different styles; we could talk about them for days and days. But let's sum up what makes bangle bracelets so popular and trendy.

* Bangle bracelets come in various shapes, styles, and colors and can be made from various materials like precious metals, semi-precious metals, wood and even plastic. You can purchase bangles from every price point imaginable...like 1.00 and up for fashion jewelry and up to thousands of dollars for high-end bangle bracelets made from precious metals. They are affordable for everyone!

* Bangle bracelets come in various styles: (a) cuff bangle bracelets (b) hinged bangle bracelets (c) slip-on round, square or oval shaped bangle bracelets (d) coil styled bangle bracelets - to name just a few of the styles you'll find in department stores and jewelry stores.

* If you are not much of a standard watch person you can find bangle bracelets that have watch faces on them which are very much in-trend for this year. They look great when paired with other bangles of similar style and material.

* When storing your bangle bracelets try to store them lying flat in a good jewelry box and not laying on top of one another as they can scratch and dent easily. If you have a lot of bangle bracelets in your jewelry wardrobe consider purchasing a ladies watch box and storing your bangles inside of that or a free standing velvet display bar for a beautiful design piece.

With Bangles, you never have to worry about having too many or that they will go out of fashion. Enjoy wearing them as often as possible and with all of your favorite outfits and you will be the trendiest gal around.

1960's Hippie Style Jewlery is Hot and In-Style this Spring & Summer Season

The 1960's were a time where we saw a trend in jewelry take a new direction thanks to the social issues going on at the time. We saw men and women wearing all kinds of jewelry pieces that reflected their thoughts and opinions about social issues that were ripping our nation apart at the time. We also saw a big trend in nature-inspired jewelry pieces going on at the same time.

Fast-forward to 2012 and we are seeing a return to the 1960's style jewelry trend once again. Men, women and even teenagers are wearing jewelry to support their favorite causes and/or sporting around nature-inspired jewelry once again. What was hot then is hot again now!

When shopping for this type of jewelry you can purchase new or you can hit some yard sales, flea markets or anywhere that you can find vintage jewelry. Here are some key pieces to look for.

* Look for beaded jewelry in all shapes and colors. If you really want to stand out from the crowd this spring and summer opt for the brightest and boldest coors like neon green, bright turquoise, robin egg blue or citrus orange.

* Look for jewelry with a heavy boho influence. Look for beaded or woven pieces made from hemp or hemp-like materials.

* Look for any type of earrings, charms, bracelets or necklaces with the oh-so trendy peace sign symbol. These are always a hit with those sporting around the hippie look with their fashion jewelry.

* Fringe, bib, multi-layered and multiple-dangle necklaces were hot then and they are hot again this season. Since this trend comes and goes we think you should look for these pieces in the fashion-jewelry marketplace which makes them much more affordable.

* Nature-Inspired jewelry was big then and to this day it continues to be big. This is one trend in jewelry that has never gone out of style so it's a great investment in your jewelry wardrobe.

Show your hippie throwback style with some of these great looks and have a blast with your fashion style this spring and summer!

Jewelry Trends for Tween Girls

We hear the term TWEEN a lot these days and the marketing gurus have been capitalizing on marketing specifically to this age group successfully.  What is the definition of tween specifically? Tween has been used to describe children between the ages of 8 and 14 years of age. This age group has been trend setters in jewelry and fashion for several years. Let's take a look at what is trending for Tweens in jewelry for this Spring.

For tween girls this season we are seeing a few different necklace trends such as birthstone pendants, heart pendants or monogrammed key pendants, initial pendants and peach signs. Many times they will layer the necklaces and wear several at one time.

Tweens are also sporting darling ribbon band watches with sterling silver or silver tone round watch faces this spring season. Another popular item is the handcrafted jewelry made from ribbons, braided leather cords, buttons and beads that are all very hot and trendy this year.

Boho style necklaces are also very popular right now and you will usually find boho styled pendants dangling from colorful ribbons, vinyl or leather cords. When it comes to earrings you will find boho style dangled earrings to go along with their matching pendants.

Rings are hot and trendy but look for sterling silver or 14 kt. gold initial rings for your tween or look for simple birthstone solitaire rings set into the same semi-precious metal. Don't forget stacking rings is still a great look that the kids love.

Tweens love jewelry and setting trends at this important age. If you are looking for great trend jewelry for your tween, this list will head you in the right direction!

Jewelry Trends for Fashion Rings Spring 2012

Jewelry is such an expressive fashion accessory. By adding a specific piece to your outfit you can change your look from dull to wow.  Really simple items such as rings can also make an impact on your fashion style.  Let's take a look at what is trending now for fashion rings in Spring.

* Bali-Style rings are all the rage right now and if you are not sure what to look for here is a tip: Look for fashion rings that are encrusted with metal bead work and faux gems or rhinestones. These rings tend to be moderate in size to very bold looking.

* Romantic-Style rings are always in style and we are seeing rings done in floral designs or in heard shapes all over the Hollywood starlets this season.  You can sport a dainty heart-shaped pinky ring or go all out with a big bold flower motif ring.

* Coil and Wrap rings are also in high-fashion style right now!  The ring should wrap or coil around your finger 3-4 times. If this is too bold of a look for you then try a simple bypass-style ring on your pointer or middle finger.

* Expansion Band rings (stretch rings) are great for those of you who tend to swell up or retain water in your fingers. Just like a watch with an expansion band. These types of rings are great for those of you who have issued with traditional rings. We have been seeing expansion band rings in bold florals, animal motifs and even a few with watch faces this season.

Look for a few of these cute trendy ring styles this season and you can make your fashion statement big and bold or sweet and simple.  If your jewelry collection is overflowing with rings, purchase ring holders or ring jewelry boxes to keep them within easy reach, organized and ready to wear with that perfect outfit.

Ankle Bracelet Trends and Tips for Spring and Summer

When the weather warms up and the sandals come out, so do fun Ankle bracelets. With spring and summer right around the corner, now is a great time to take a look at this trend that is delicate and fun! Here are some great ideas on this seasonal jewelry fashion trend to add to your jewelry box.

Right now in the stores are pretty two-tone anklet bracelets in a white metal with yellow metal stations or accents. Also coming up are good-quality tri-color ankle bracelets with white, yellow and rose-toned metals. They look great and many ladies love layering up several different chain ankle bracelets onto one ankle.

Heart themed jewelry is always in style and this season we are seeing a lot of the leading trend setters sporting around chain-style ankle bracelets with heart stations or with dangling heart shaped charms. Many of these leading ladies have diamonds or crystals set into the hearts for that sparkling look. You can also find gemstones and pearls in the designs too.

If you are looking to invest in an ankle bracelet that will last you for years and one that will stand up to the abuse that an ankle bracelet goes through we recommend investing in a sterling silver or 14kt gold Byzantine chain link bracelet. These are usually very sturdy chains due to the nature of the Byzantine design and thinner, more delicate chains may break easily.

If you spend a lot of time in pool water or at the beach, try to avoid wearing your ankle bracelets that pearls or gemstones on them. Water an ruin pears and gems! Your best bet for premium jewelry care would be to remove delicate anklets before swimming and make sure you rinse them and wipe try after swimming in chlorine to protect your investment.
